Privacy Policy

Last updated: December 28, 2025

At Menually, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data we process. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

For Restaurant Owners

When you create a Menually account, we collect your name, email address, restaurant name, and billing information. We use this to provide our service, process payments, and communicate with you about your account.

For Guests (End Users)

We prioritize guest privacy. When guests scan a QR code to view a menu:

  • We do not require guests to create an account to view menus.
  • We do not track guests across different restaurants or websites.
  • If a guest places an order (where available), we collect only the necessary information to fulfill that order (e.g., table number, selected items, and optional payment details if processed through us).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Menually platform.
  • To process transactions and manage subscriptions.
  • To improve our platform's performance and reliability.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We primarily operate as a service provider (processor) for restaurants.

3. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and secure cloud infrastructure. While no method of transmission is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information.

4. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We may use anonymous analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., total page views) to improve our system capacity and performance.
